In Chandigarh, India, 8 girls allegedly tried to commit suicide after indecent videos of university students went viral.
According to Indian media reports, there has been an incident in a private university in Mohali where a female student made indecent videos of more than 60 female students and sent them to her boyfriend at different times.
Reports say that the girl who made the video was caught red-handed by the students after which the matter came to light after the incident 8 girls allegedly tried to commit suicide and many are in critical condition.

According to reports, students protested strongly on the university campus and staged a dharna against the administration, and alleged that the university administration was suppressing the issue.
Due to the protest of the students, the university administration had to call the police and during this, the police also lathi-charged the students.
On the other hand, the police and the university administration dismissed the alleged suicide of the girls as a rumor, however, reports have said that the female students who tried to commit suicide have been admitted to various hospitals.
Meanwhile, the student who made videos of fellow girls has admitted to making Nazi videos and the police have started investigating the girl.
According to reports, the student used to send videos to her friend living in the Indian tourist city of Shimla, the evidence of which has also been obtained from the phone.
