We are immediately hiring a full-time position for SICK PATIENTS.
Location: Daryl Walker - 4320 Seminary Rd, Alexandria, VA, 22304 Note: applications made online are only accepted.
Schedule: Full-time; Shifts may vary:
8:00 am - 4:30 p.m.
4:00 pm - 12:00 am
10:00 am - 6:30 p.m.
Required: Previous experience, preferences.

Job Summary
Summary: Responsible for safe, timely and accurate patient transport, medical equipment, and patient-related services at their destination.
Key Functions and Responsibilities:
It transports well and safely to patients, protects IVs, fluid tubes, etc., and protects the patient.
Depending on the transportation of patients, it uses wheelchairs and other authorized stock to perform key position functions.
Demonstrates the ability to move all age groups.
It ensures safe, timely and accurate transportation of patients to their destination using the required equipment.
It communicates well with staff nurses, doctors, specialists or reception and referral.
It ensures the comfort of the patient by listening attentively. It provides pajamas, checks modesty and participates only in appropriate discussions involving patients. Never refer patients who are in severe pain.
It warns nursing staff immediately of any signs of patient stress or mechanical malfunction.
It maintains equipment and reports equipment that needs to be repaired.
It complies with regulatory agency standards, including federal, state and JCAHO.
Complies with the confidentiality policy and patient rights policy as defined in the HIPPA policies and procedures.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
