The process
All submissions must be dated, sorted by category, and processed within 24 hours. The stock trader may deliver the goods to the point of sale as time permits and management approval.
Any differences or issues are the responsibility of the stockroom expert to report to the Operational Assistant Manager, Store Manager, and / or Distribution Center. A straight line of communication will be determined in the store on a store basis.
Make sure all the backstock is organized and placed in designated areas in the stockroom.
Make sure that clothing items, cleaning supplies, hardware bins, bags, tissues, and other items stored are neat and orderly. Hangers should be boxed, labeled, and kept on track.
The stock should be kept clean, neat and orderly at all times. All rubbish and boxes should be taken out regularly and never collected for more than a few days. The floor should be swept daily and compacted weekly. Private waste must be collected before the end of the switch. The sales area and office waste should be collected by the closure team and placed on the back door. Follow up with Visual or Store Manager about any old displays or window resources to find out if they should be discarded.
